Marina is a graduate of St. Martin’s University; she received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Women’s Studies. Previously, Marina worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor contracted through the Department of Labor and Industries. Marina enjoys the hands-on approach of working with people and strives to help clients maintain the highest level of function in their homes and preserve their personal definition of quality of life. Marina is passionate about caring for the aging community and is always looking to improve her knowledge of this facet of care management. Marina lost her beloved Grandmother in 2022 and has vowed to make it her life’s work to protect and care for the well-being of others, in her grandmother’s honor.
Outside of work, Marina is an active member in her community serving as a Board Member to her Condominium Complex. Any given weekend you can find Marina watching UFC with her other half, Austin or taking long drives to explore the Pacific Northwest. Marina enjoys spending time with family/friends and of course her dogs Xoe and Jane. Marina was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington with roots that lead back to Jalisco, Mexico. Marina is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish.
