Michelle is considering leaving her job to take care of her mother, Denise, who is having memory issues. After a fall lands Denise the ER, Michelle calls Family First to initiate care.
Michelle and Denise are matched with a CarePro to help transport Denise to her rehab appointments and help with tasks around the house. Having expertise in dementia care, Denise's CarePro is attuned to signs of further memory loss and proactive in creating a safe and supportive environment to keep Denise at home and independent as long as possible.
Over time, Michelle is able to delegate more caregiving responsibilities to her CarePro allowing her to focus on her role of loving daughter. Emphasizing the importance of home safety and benefiting from the vigilant attention of a trained caregiver, potential issues are identified early or prevented altogether. Denise values her independence and cherishes her life at home, and having Family First as a supportive ally has made an enormous difference in her circumstances.
